Dynadock Drivers Mac
I have a macbook pro 13' connected to a Toshiba Dynadock U3.0, there are no OSX drivers on their official website, however I've got the latest display link beta drivers and using it, its really slow and almost unusable. Wondering if anyone has this or had issues fixed with it etc? Thanks in advance (.
FYI I'm using one of these at my office with a 2015 MBP and yosemite. I use it as a USB hub and to connect to the wired network. No problems with that, and I didn't need any drivers. I connect my two external monitors directly to the HDMI and minidisplay ports on the MBP. I thought I'd test out the speed when connecting the two monitors through the Dynadock. It works, but. Not so great.
I installed the DisplayLink driver, and noticed a definite speed difference going through the Dynadock and USB 3.0. Moving the mouse around I could see the cursor skipping around, while doing the same on the direct connection showed smooth cursor movement. So it works, but I'd only recommend it for your monitor connections as a last resort.
Hi, I was hardcore windows user, who has been cutting their windows ties since buying a macbook air last year, and now am happily living the good life:-) Thanks again to the forum members for past assistances. I have managed to complete all my daily tasks with the mac, until now.
Two of the customers I do work for have Toshiba DynaDock Universal Docking Stations on the desks in their offices, and it would be advantageous to connect to them. This unit seems to be becoming a standard for hotdesks. Unfortunately, when i connect it, the only benefit it gives me is an external keyboard. (Not really much of a benefit, as i carry the cool mac with me at all times!) I found a link on the page below that mentions there may be some OSX drivers, but cant seem to locate them? Cons for the MAC: Though not specifically marketed for MACs, you can download drivers from Dynalink so that you can use the Dynadock with a MAC. Seemed to work OK at first, but then started doing loud beeping noises. Has anyone else gone through this?
